Beginning in 2009, Certified Elevator Inspectors are now required to have completed .8 CEUs (8 hours) of continuing education to fulfill their yearly requirement for their Maintenance of Qualifications as mandated by QEI-1 2007. You must fulfill the CEUs before you will be granted access to the exam. If you attempt to log in and receive a message indicating that you have not fulfilled your continuing education requirements, please contact NAESA’s office immediately. Check our Training Calendar for the most current list of scheduled classes and workshops.

As a reminder, individuals who wait until the grace period (July 1st to July 31st) to recertify will be assessed a late fee equal to the amount of their recertification fee ($150 for members and $200 for non-members). We encourage all Inspectors and Inspection Supervisors to complete the recertification process prior to the grace period to avoid paying this fee.

If you have forgotten your password or NAESA ID, please use the “forgot password?” feature in the upper right hand corner of the home page under the log in button. Provided that the email address you enter matches the one in the system, you will be issued a temporary password. Your NAESA ID and temporary password will then be emailed to you. If you experience any difficulties with this, please contact our office.

When making your payment online you will have two opportunities to print out your receipt. The first opportunity will be on the page where you enter your payment   information. The second opportunity will be on the detailed results page. A receipt will be included in your recertification packet which will be mailed upon successful completion of the recertification exam. Please do not call NAESA’s office to request a receipt.
