The December renewal period will is  Nov 1st. To renew your certification you are required to complete 1.0 CEUs as an Inspector or 1.3 CEUs as an Inspector Supervisor. In addition, you must complete the Maintenance of Qualifications Survey and submit your renewal payment to NAESA International. All of these items MUST be completed prior to your expiration date to avoid a late fee penalty.

MAINTENANCE OF QUALIFICATIONS SURVEY

In order to renew your certification, you are required to complete this questionnaire that ensures you comply with the QEI-1 Part 2-3 for Inspectors' Maintenance of Qualifications or 3-3 for Inspector Supervisors' Maintenance of Qualifications. YOU MUST RESPOND TO EACH QUESTION.

As of November 1st, your Maintenance of Qualifications Questionnaire (MOQ) will be available online, in your naesai.org profile.

CONTINUING EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Inspectors must obtain 1.0 CEUs prior to renewing certification. This is equivalent to 10 hours of approved continuing education. If you've already obtained 8 hours, you can complete an additional 2 hours online at naesa.webex.com or from a NAESA approved article featured at www.elevatorbooks.com. Don't forget that Inspector Supervisors are still required to obtain an additional .3 CEUs in Management/Supervision techniques. You can view the Continuing Education Units that we have on file for you by logging in to NAESA's website and then accessing your profile. If you do not see your hours marked that you have completed, please email megan@naesai.org  and she can get that updated.

ANNUAL RENEWAL FEE

To renew your certification by December 30, 2024, you must also pay your annual renewal fee: $175 for members, $225 for non-members. This fee will double during the month of January. You can pay this fee by credit card over the phone by calling 360-292-4968 or by sending a check to NAESA International's Executive Office, P.O. Box 4367, Mankato, MN 56002. You may also pay by logging in to NAESA's website and accessing your profile.

Once you've completed this questionnaire, paid your annual renewal fee, and obtained the necessary amount of CEUs, a new certification card will be issued to you.

IMPORTANT!!!

All three steps must be completed to renew your certification. If you do not complete ALL three steps prior to December 31, 2024, you  WILL be charged a late fee.
