There are 2 recertification periods:
- November - December
- May - June
If you are a QEI-certified inspector or supervisor, your expiration date will either be December 31st or June 30th. This information can be found on your QEI Certification Card.
There are three steps to complete the recertification process annually:
- Complete 1.0 CEUs (equivalent to 10 hours) of approved continuing education. (You can view your total CEU amount on your profile page. Please contact us if the information is incorrect or missing.)
- Complete the Maintenance of Qualifications (MOQ) survey online.
- Pay your renewal fee ($175 for members, $225 for non-members).
You must complete all this by your expiration date. There is a one month grace period following each recertification period (January for December renewals, July for June renewals). An additional fee equal to that of your initial renewal fee ($175 for members, $225 for non-members) is required during the grace periods.
To access the MOQ's and payment page during your renewal period, login, and click on your name at the top. You'll find what you need on the menu at the top of your page.
