QEI Re-certification for those inspectors who's certification expires on June 30th, 2020 began on May 1st.
- 1. You must have 10 hours of approved continuing education credits (1.0 CEU). You can view how many CEUs you have by logging in and clicking on your name, then CEU Tracking.
- 2. If you are a Supervisor, you need an additional 3 hours of approved continuing education in Management and/or Supervision techniques.
- 3. Complete the Maintenance of Qualifications survey. Log in, click your name at the top, then click M. O. Q. Questions on the bottom left.
- 4. Pay your renewal fee. $175 for members, $225 for non-members. You can pay your fee through your profile as well.
All of these steps must be completed by June 30th, 2020. There is a grace period of one month (July 1st-31st) that you will be able to renew your certification. A late fee equal to your renewal fee ($175 for members, $225 for non-members) will be assessed during this grace period. IF YOU COMPLETE ANY OF THE RECERTIFICATION STEPS DURING THE GRACE PERIOD, THE LATE FEE WILL APPLY.
Once all your recertification steps are complete, a new QEI Certification card will be issued to you and mailed to the address we have on file.
